Our MexiGirls Getaway!
We arrived at Casa Tres Cervezas on Thursday and feel in love in an instant! The property is a true labor of love and a paradise. Every nook displayed art work, specifically designed for the casa! The rooms were very unique, comfortable and decorated with much care. The outdoor areas were gorgeous and gave us such memories to remember for years to come, including watching the lunar eclipse on the rooftop:) Aidee, her beautiful mom, Jonathan and George took care of our every needs, cooking us the most delicious meals (shopping at the market & teaching us how to make chile relleno) and organizing the best excursions for us like the hot air balloon ride and spending Sunday afternoon at the Mayan Baths. We will definitely visit again!

There are many unique and wonderful rooms to choose from. There are peaceful surroundings all over the sprawling property to enjoy. Watching the sunset is exceptional!!! No words can describe the scrumptious home-made breakfast every morning (thanks Aidee). It’s a short walk to El Centro. Enjoy great history, shopping and local art everywhere. Awesome concierge service is always available. Jonnathan, George and Martin will customize your stay around what makes you happy. Choose from: a Hot air balloon ride, Wonderful restaurant recommendations, Metal art classes, 4-wheeling adventures, Massage and other therapies, Hot Springs, Local flea markets…anything your heart desires! “An oasis Casa Tres Cervezas, in San Miguel Allende, Mexico”
The pictures do not do it justice. It is an enchanting Mexican palace. The staff in one word simply fabulous. Starting with Martin, Jonathan, George, Aide, and all the wonderful staff. What a memorable stay!
“Cooking Class at Tres Cervezas”
Although we did not get to stay here, we had a tour and the rooms were incredible. We went to the warm and inviting kitchen where we took the most incredible cooking class. I have taken many classes in the U.S., but none have been this good. The chef’s name is Aide and she taught us about tajin, Mezcal, tamarindo margaritas among many dishes. She even gave us a recipe for a natural cough suppressant. I can’t say enoughabout her class!
Wow, Beautiful hacienda, gorgeous surroundings, ideal setting for my wife and I. Jonnathan and Martin could not have been more helpful. They where there and always available to help with anything we asked of them. In the kitchen, Aide always wanted to know what we would like for breakfast. If she did not have something , she made sure it was there. Her mom was a delight helping out. Aide is a wonderful chef. We could not have asked for anything better. A short, short walk into town with many dining options, shopping or excursions. I would highly recommend Casa Tres Cervezas to anyone who is looking for a wonderful, delightful time.
Sophisticated old world elegance & friendly staff
Casa Tres Cervezas is the most beautiful boutique hotel I have ever stayed in. From the moment you walk through the door you are met with a warm and elegant vibe that makes you relax and feel at home. There are a multitude of cozy corners to sip wine, read a book or relax in the sun. The staff was super attentive the food was superb. I highly recommend this place if you are going to San Miguel.
WOWZA – What a beauty
From the moment I walked in to Casa Tres Cervezas, I was blown away. This jaw-dropping Villa is one of a kind and something everyone should experience. The staff and food are warm, conscientious, helpful and seem to really enjoy their job, which makes it all the more special. I wish I was there right now and will definitely be back…..everyone should experience this magical city and bed & breakfast.
I can not say enough wonder things about this property!!! We had an incredible time. We were so well taken care of by the staff, the food cooked by Aide was incredible and the decor and bedding was so beautifully appointed. I felt i was home away from home. Thank you all so much! What a blessing and an honor to stay in this property! I cannot wait to go back.

Warm and comfortable with a magical charm
Left on Mar 21, 2018 for a stay in Mar 2018
I want to live here! The Casa Tres staff was wonderfully accommodating and the food was great! The location is perfect (2 blocks from the Centro) and the property is just gorgeous. It’s very special. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a place in San Miguel.
Unique and Very Memorable
We left with wonderful memories of a perfect experience. The sprawling home is so perfectly laid out. Private rooms yet very open and lots of space for gathering with your group for meals in dining rooms or for cocktails or coffee on the many patios and terraces. Beautifully decorated and unique due to the al fresco style lay out. I loved it and the wonderful staff. So accomodating. Highly recommend this home to anyone traveling to this special city.
Fantastic! And Beyond!
How to begin? First of all, Tres Cervezas is a beautiful six bedroom courtyard estate. A seventh bedroom master suite is also available. Many of the bedroom have Fireplaces, and all are beautifully decorated with very nice bed linens, and very stylish decor. Every room has an en suite bath. There are many wonderful public places to hang out. My favorite was the outdoor courtyard arbor with sectional sofa and fire pit. You have the fresh air and sounds of a fountain, very relaxing. There were beautiful fresh flowers everywhere. There was a large living room, with large dining table, and a small bar. We spent a lot of time in the well equipped kitchen, with comfy seating area and TV, enjoying the wonderful breakfasts cooked by the staff, right there. There is also a rooftop lounge area, complete with nice bar, and beautiful views of the city. Speaking of the city, Très Cervezas is in a wonderful location, and couldn’t be more convenient to stroll into the shopping areas or the main square. George and Jonnathan were wonderful, and we hated to leave them. They arranged so many conveniences for us, taxi rides, shopping, excursions, etc. I highly recommend Très Cervezas!
When I arrived at the Casa I had no idea what to expect. The gorgeous door wrapped in flowers, the entry was lit with candles and I started tear up. I felt as if I was stepping back in time and at the same time, a feeling of overwhelm with the beauty of this property. We were welcomed with smiles and greeted by the incredible staff as they gave us the tour of this property. We were all stunned and all agreed that we felt honored to be staying in a home in this incredible village in the mountains of San Miguel. No details missed. Everything we needed and more was available to us. The bedding was luxurious, the appointment with each and every detail was flawless. And OMG- the art! The owner of this property knows incredible art and really places the art in each space which made it experiential. So many spaces to get away and be alone and meditate. Thank you for allowing us to come and experience this ultimate adventure. What a romantic wonderful time we had!
First Class All The Way!!
This beautiful Casa in the heart of San Miguel is the perfect place to kick back with friends or family and become a hedonist. The amazing staff including a chef and two concierges will take care of your every need, including drug store runs, personalized meals, in house massages, and even a stash of private label mezcal! With 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, you’ll never lack for privacy if you want it and the view from the rooftop deck is spectacular. Perfect for reunions, meetings, yoga or meditation retreats. Fresh flowers, daily maid service, guided tours and much more awaits you here and the moorish decor in this historic building makes you feel like you’re in another world. I could go on and on but don’t hesitate, just book this place! You will not be sorry!
Luxurious home for a vacation, meeting, reunion or retreat THIS IS THE PLACE!
From the moment we arrived at Casa Tres Cervesas, we were enchanted – by the luxuriousness of the rooms, the beauty of the grounds, the graciousness of the staff, and the food! Oh, the food! We arrived after 9:00 PM and were surprised with a beautiful plate of meats and cheeses, guacamole and a sensational chicken soup. The perfect meal for tired and hungry travelers. Chef Aidee Prado cooked up delicious dishes every morning with her own wonderfully complex salsas and moles. One night she grilled up a variety of meats, cactus and cheeses for a fantastic traditional dinner of molcajete mixto. Delicioso! We were daily entertained and informed by concierge George Herter, who has encyclopedic knowledge of both local history and local mescal bars. And concierge Jonathan Tinco provided excellent suggestions for restaurants and activities. We loved everything he recommended. Finally, sipping a house-made margarita at sunset on the casa’s rooftop patio over looking the town of San Miguel is an unforgettable experience. You can’t go wrong staying here. We were just 4 guests on this trip but the property can handle up to 14 guests and it is the perfect place for a business meeting, a family gathering or retreat. The Yoga room and massage area next to the gorgeous pool and hot water Spa is unbeatable. This is absolutely the spot for our next family reunion location.

A Magical and Spectacular Vacation of a Lifetime!
First and foremost, my fiancé and I had no idea what to expect… I had looked at pictures online and they looked beautiful, but still wasn’t completely sure… Um, the pictures are what you get. Stunning! The compound is luxurious while also feeling homey. The layout of the space is perfect for a group of friends or a family. The staff is A+ You cannot beat the price either! Where can you get a place for 14-16 people per night at this price? Add the chef – SO WORTH IT! She is amazing. Iday (sp?) cooked us breakfast every morning and left delicious tortas for lunch. Dinner was so juicy and fresh… We all were freaking out about the food quality. Jonathan and George were available for anything and everything we wanted to do. The staff speaks very, very good English so there is no worry there either. Location, location, location… WOW! We didn’t need a car at all. DO NOT GET A CAR. The staff will arrange to have a car or vans pick you up. It is worth it. Take taxis or vans wherever you want to go. We did the following activities (I suggest ALL of them): Balloon ride, ATV rides, metal working class and hot springs with massages. YES to all! Everything was very reasonably priced for Americans or Europeans. Now, let’s talk about quality of life and food… Foodies are more than welcome in San Miguel Allende! You will be blown away if you are a gastronome. Every restaurant was better than the next. Our group at together at night almost every evening and George or Jonathan would be sure that our reservation was made and if we were running late, they would let the restaurant know. Eat, for sure, at Bovine, Atrio and 1810 Trazo (this may have been my favorite. The steak vermacilli was unbelievable). The desserts were phenomenal. Wine selections were terrific as well. The Lunde Cab/Blend was amazing and very well priced. Tasted like a $40-50 bottle of CA wine. Truly wonderful. Walk score 100+. The city is called “The City of Doors” because there aren’t really any yards. Behind each door (which are usually art in and of themselves) is a special and surprising treat. Stores, art galleries, eateries, clothing shops, jewelry stores, spas, etc. You could walk in San Miguel for months on end just peering inside of each door and you could never discover all there is to see. We stayed in the Moroccan Room and it was very, very special! Two fireplaces, bathtub and shower… Double sinks… tucked away from the rest of the Casa upstairs… Truly lovely. That said, there are no bad rooms! We looked at all of them and said, “Ooooo – look at this room. Oh, I like this room too…” All of them are so well decorated with special touches. The owner/designer of the place put his heart into each and every detail. You feel it in the art, the furniture, the views from the rooftop space, the staff and every single light fixture. For those of you who must connect to the outside world… The internet works very, very well. There are DVD players and flat screen TVs, a game/screening room and banks for pulling pesos everywhere. Enjoy!
Nothing but Phenomenal
Upon arrival the unassuming entrance doors to Casa Tres Cervesas opened from the street to reveal a wonderland of classic Mexican architecture, lush greenery, fresh flowers throughout, and bedrooms full of individual regional character. It took years and years for this place to evolve and grow organically and thoughtfully under the direction of its owner and watchful eye of its onsite proprietor, George. Our stay at Casa Tres Cervesas was four days, and I continued to discover new magical spaces throughout that time. The staff was as nice as could be and took care of everything seemingly before we could ask. I could hear them quietly making their way to the kitchen very early in the morning in order to ensure coffee was made and the orange juice was freshly squeezed. When I was summoned via the wafting smell of bacon, the kitchen table was always a sight of fresh fruit, breads, and your choice of breakfast made to order. The shower was strong and hot, the rooms were attended to within minutes of leaving, and the constant sound of trickling fountains pervade the entire property. This home is literally a 5 minute walk to the town square with any number of restaurant and shopping choices on the way. The morning of our departure George arrived at 2:45 AM to make our coffee, ensure our driver to the airport showed up on time at 3:15, and say his thanks before leaving. Given its sprawling size, location, staff, and absolute beauty, Casa Tres Cervesas will not disappoint. The photo gallery does not and cannot do it justice. Thank you George!
